This beautiful blanket is a great stashbuster pattern with many possibilities.
I made a mini test version of the Butterfly blanket, hoping to make a big blanket some day, using leftovers.
It would also be great to make a scarf version, casting on 35 sts as for the mini test square, working only one pattern repeat to desired length.

Possibilities: Working only 1 center repeat, cast on 35 stitches. A one color version would give a great scarf!

When working on the Butterfly shawl earlier, I thought about how nice it would be to make a blanket with this stitch. And here it is!
Here are my notes from the Butterfly Shawl, with an alternative link for the purl 7 together.

Measurements blocked:
One stitch pattern repeat (10 sts) measures 6.5 cm.
One row repeat (20 rows) measures 7 cm.

Yarn used:
Trysil Superwash Garn: (1) 15 g, used up halfway on chart B. (2) 47 g. 7 g used (40 g left)
Total used for mini: 22 g/ 44 meters.

For the bind-off, I would recommend a standard BO with a larger needle.
I used the Icelandic Bind-off for my mini with my main needle, which turned out too stretchy. It might be an alternative to use this BO together with a smaller needle. In any case, when using the Icelandic BO, I would bind off on RS.
