Notes

12.10.11 I haven’ come up with the name yet, but I do know how I’d like to adapt this pattern to my liking. I will not use the entire chart of cables. I’ll list my modifications and also post details on my blog.

My gauge is different, so I CO 112 sts for the back, 120 for front. 52 for each sleeve.

Mod 1: I did the tubular cast on. This one is a new method. I posted details on my blog.

Mod 2: I work the ribbing in 1X1 pattern, rather than 2X2.

Mod 3: I removed some of the cables from the pattern and work only 83 central sts in cables, the rest in the moss st.

Mod 4: For the sleeves I’ve used one repeat of the central diamond and added two 6 st. cables on both sided of the diamond.

Mod 5: For the neck band I’ve picked up sts and worked in 1X1 ribbing.

More on my mods and my tips for knitting you may read on my blog.
