Just before I went to have shoulder surgery I cast on for this nice scarf/shoulderette.
I had spun up about 8 ounces of handpainted Blue Faced Leicester in 2-ply lace weight in the spring of this year and wanted to have a project on the needles which would not be too taxing either in tension nor in pattern. Btw, I do love to knit with handspun most of all.
Now a week after surgery I am still not allowed to knit and will be for at least two more weeks. How very sad.
But I am looking forward to better knitting times.

End of July: needs blocking, I am not up to that yet.
