Notes

A short time ago when going through my stash this batch of homespun fell into my hands.
Shortly thereafter I saw Tea Leaves and went through the finished projects on Ravelry.

I have been too lazy to remake the pattern after the pictures and bought the pattern instead. It seems exceptionally well written and very straightforward.

Gauge should be all right - so, as soon as Snowflakes in Cedarwoods was cast off I went ahead and cast on for this cardigan.

Tried it on yesterday (28. Feb.) seems to fit fine.
I don’t want it too tight so I can wear a layer or two beneath it. This will be a warm cardigan.

The yoke will be a bit dense, hope it will soften while being blocked.

After trying on the neck opening seemed a bit to wide - picked up stitches and added a few rows of garter stitch and bound of with a three stitch i-cord in purl.

Very nice to be able to finish the sleeves in the right length - hopefully the cardigan will not grow with washing.

Pictures will follow as soon as my photographer will be in the same time zone with me and my tea leaves.

A very enjoyable project, easy and fast, fits well and will be worn often :)

Weight: 513 g including buttons

Afterthoughts, August 2010: I love this cardigan! It is so soft and I could just live in it although it pills like crazy because the yarn is so softly spun. Will need a shave in the near future. I will need another one!!!
