Ran out of yarn for the bindoff, and of course my yarn was long discontinued. Fortunately Sweet Georgia’s Nightshade was an almost perfect match and I honestly can’t tell it is a different yarn or color on the bindoff. Phew.

Had a bit of trouble getting into the rhythm for chart F, but after one repeat of it, I finally picked up on what was going on. Not sure why that gave me so much trouble the first time around.

the bindoff instructions as written didn’t make any sense to me, but when I actually looked at the pattern and the chart, I finally picked up on it. Love the way the bindoff looks.

Overall, this wasn’t too bad of a lace pattern to knit, but I was going a little bit nuts after having knitted on the thing for so damn long. Yes, I was silly and made the tall size. But it is gorgeous and impressive and I love it.

28 inches deep from neckline to bottom edge. 56 inches from tip of the wing to bottom edge. 56 edges wide (more or less).
