Notes

Finally finished this project and I want to cast on with a new one straight away!!!!

It took a while to cast on - fear of the unknown and an abborhance to knitting with fishing line.

The first sleeve was where I came unstuck (the first time). I didn’t read the pattern and didn’t increase on both sides….and had to frog back and start again. I did something similar when I started the front.

SO

I decided on a few changes

  1. I knit both sleeves in the round with magic loop.
  2. I cast on the left front, back, and right front all in one piece and used stitch markers to work out where the sides were. I thought this would make it SO much easier as I wouldn’t have to seam up the edges.
  3. When it came to the armholes I used the knit picks cables and ends and knit the remainder of each section separately.
  4. I decided to sew up the seams with the sewing machine to give it a nice finish and didn’t actually join up the collar at the back to make it a little different.

Bottom section - 2 strands of stainless steel
Middle section - 1 strand of stainless steel 1 strand of cotton
Top section - 2 strands of cotton
