I really like how the self-striping turned out on this blanket. And I really like the ruffle, also. I saw a few of them on the internets and knew I needed to do this also. This was a really easy and quick knit. It really only took a few days. I put it aside for a long time to finish up Christmas knitting. Once I picked it up again after Christmas it went by very fast. It ended up about 37″ wide. It doesn’t seem like it’s very big and if I had more yarn I would have made it a bit bigger. But I really didn’t want to go out and buy more yarn for this project. And I think it will be fine for a baby. It’s a nice relaxing knit. Stockinette all the way. With a bit of increasing thrown in there for good measure.
