The cables add a little loft and the yarn has gotten soft after its bath. Love the texture the cables give to this!

I’ve been looking forward to knitting this pattern and I’ve been looking forward to using this yarn. Finally a pattern for this yarn!

I love the colors in this yarn and the texture created by the cables breaks up the variegation. Even though I wouldn’t normally use a variegated yarn with a lace pattern, the cables seem to work just fine with the color changes. Over time, it’ll be a nice texture to this shawl.

Best either to use the chart or really pay attention to reading the knitting because just following the written instructions is not enough to keep things lined up. Using KnitCompanion to help me and this has been great! It has helped me see what’s happening on the chart and in my knitting. Couldn’t have done it without this app!
