I used size 13 needles because it was all I had, even though the pattern recommends size 15. I’m not sure if I should have knit a larger size, or if it was because I started out with a smaller slipper (difference between size 15 and size 13 knitting), but these slippers didn’t felt into the fabric I wanted before they reached the 9.5” I was looking for. They’re felted well enough, but not perfect.

The fit is pretty good for me. (Be careful not to seam too high on the heel before felting. Maybe stop at row 7 instead of 8.). Here’s hoping that the recipient’s feet are similarly sized to mine!
