I’m testing this pattern. It is originally written for men’s Medium, but I’m upsizing it to Large so that my husband can wear them. No need to knit something that won’t ever be worn!

Original pattern asks for a gauge of 9sts/in on US1 needles. I prefer the fabric of this yarn at 8sts/in on a US2 needle. That is why I chose a larger needle. Also, at a larger guage, it requires no math to convert a Medium size into a Large size.

Finished first sock on 3/9/11. Will be put into hibernation for awhile until I finish some of my other projects.
