Notes

05/17/11 - This pattern was improvised/written by Mandysdemons. This will be the first blanket for an adult that I’ll be making, so I’m both nervous and excited! My goal is to have the blanket finished by October so I can snuggle with TuxedoMask underneath it!
CO - 300 stitches; makes 5 waves
Picture added of The Boyfriend posing with the blanket, pre-knit of course!

05/22/11 - Picture added of the progress from Week # 1. There is a slight mistake with increases made in the wrong spot in one part, but I’m disregarding it (mostly because I’d have to tink back to the blue to fix it).

05/29/11 - Picture added of Week # 2 progress. Making many mental notes of changes for next time.

06/05/11 - Picture added of Week # 3 progress … it’s making me think of a tree skirt!

10/13/11 - So, this project slept through the summer because it was just too hot to have it on my lap. This worked out because the boyfriend couldn’t come to visit in October as hoped. Therefore, the new goal is finishing it by February, when he is planned to be here. Much blame to Manna for my wanting to pick it up again … I saw her knitting on one over Thanksgiving.

10/13/11 - SHE’S BEEN FROGGED! Once I pulled it out again, I realized I didn’t remember the pattern. I tried to figure it out and thought I had it, but then went rooting around to see if it was written down somewhere. It was, and what I had figured out didn’t matter. I decided it was best to just start fresh - it would suck, but I would be happier in the long run. Casted on for attempt # 2.
