While crocheting this, it seemed like it was going to form a parallelogram instead of a square. The edges seemed to be too angled. But when I laid it out to block, I was able to get it into a square. I may have to “kill” this one to keep it that way. (Haven’t taken it off the blocking board yet, as of 6/25/16.)
6/28: I was right, it doesn’t want to lay square. I may steam this thing at a later date, or just give it to my cat.

Another note: none of my dragonfly split stitches came out right, because they’re actually done on the wrong side. They look right on that side, but not on the right side. You have to actually look at the back (right side) of your work as you make this stitch on the wrong side, to make sure it splits the sc correctly. I didn’t know this til after I was done and noticed that they didn’t look correct when I blocked it. (I’m doing it correctly on my Radiating Dragonflies Throw.) This is an important point that should have been made clear on the pattern. I just assumed that doing it correctly on one side would make it look correct on the other side. WRONG!
