#1 - Lime (5/2/22)
Finished size: 8-1/4” long x 8-1/2” across bottom.

I only used 1 strand of yarn (worsted weight) and repeated R8 throught R20 (3 extra rounds) then did the 4 decrease rounds. For the last round, I did sc instead of sl st so as to keep the stretch.

#2- Blue (5/3/22)
Finished size: 7-1/2” long x 8-1/2” across bottom.

I only used 1 strand of yarn and followed the pattern for 21 rounds (except for the first stitch, as noted below). For the last round, I did sc around instead of sl st to keep the stretch. Also, instead of just ch1 to count as hdc at beginning of rounds, I did (ch1, hdc) into first stitch.

Both of these hats came out a tiny bit small for me (adult woman). They fit, but just barely. This was a fun pattern to make. Might make more for charity out of a softer yarn and maybe with a K/6.5 hook.
