This afghan was ordered years ago from Herrschners in a kit with unidentifiable yarn. Looks to be at least sport weight, maybe lighter like baby yarn. The pattern is very similar to the Ripple Beige Afghan by Bernat. I found this afghan in my yarn room, partly done and decided it was time to finish it. It was supposed to be a full size afghan but I hated doing this pattern so much with this fine yarn, I decided to cut it off before then. I picked it up after 11 full stripes + 2 rows, each stripe having 11 rows, so that was 123 rows. I did 6 more rows for a total of 129 rows plus 1 round of border (sc around). The original size was supposed to be 15 stripes + 8 rows (173 rows) for a measurement of 45” x 62”. My afghan was 11 stripes + 8 rows with a finished size of 44-1/2” wide x 48” long, more of a lapghan or large baby afghan.
