Finally finished this one. I’m much happier with how this version came out! The perfect stripes tutorial from PlanetJune resulted in much better color changes.

He is much cuter than my first attempt and he stands by himself! I probably won’t add a mouth. :)

For the arms, I only followed the pattern to the end of round 6 then skipped to round 10 and fastened off. This resulted in an arm length which I think is much better for the size of the doll. Having said this, if I make another one I might consider using a 2.5mm or 2.25mm hook for the arms (but doing the body in the 3.5mm hook the pattern calls for).
