• Longtail CO, joined for working in the round with purl side facing out (you’ll switch the first and last stitches on the needles to join in the round), counts as first round in pattern

• 3 needle bind-off for hood

• Used size N crochet hook because it was the only giant one I have

• Shown on my petite 2 1/2 year old (she’s in the 10th percentile)

The Loops and Thread “Cozy” yarn is a great sub for Lion Brand T&Q. The price is comparable (slightly smaller skein, a little less money), it has a much higher wool content (50% vs 20%) and I preferred working with it. It’s very soft and has a lovely sheen to it.
