Notes

02-08-11 Almost 3” in, putting aside to work up a commission pair of gloves.

They didn’t take as long as it says. I set them aside for the gloves and then 2 shawls, a hat, 2 blankets, 3 scarves, and one more set of gloves. I kept them in my purse and worked on them while shopping or traveling.

There’s a lot of Should Have’s with these. I should have gone up a needle size, I should have done a few more rows before beginning the ribbing, I should have done another half inch before the heel. But! For all that? They still fit way better than my first pair of socks. They’ll be fantastic come winter time when I want something thicker than commercial socks on my feet.
