followed the instruction but made the spikes different sizes and picked up stitches all the way around the brim and ear flaps to add an edge. Increased 3 stitches by kfb at the bottom of each ear flap and k2tog where the flaps joined the hat.

This pattern was a lot easier than it looked like it would be at first but I love the way it turned out and might do another one in pinks.
