Nice pattern if you have knit fingerless mittens before. I especially like that the instructions are written out row-by-row. And of course I LOVE the resulting finished object!

Pattern says to “pick up 15 sts” for the thumb which I’ve always seen as “Place 15 sts on st holder or waste yarn.” Easy to figure out but maybe confusing for a beginner. Then, when beginning to knit the thumb, it says to “increase 2 sts.” To do that, you pick them up from the space between the thumb and hand of the mitten. Also - I just knit two mitts exactly the same and didn’t reverse the cuff for the second one. They turned out fine. :)

Personal notes: Last color change at row 70. k 3 rounds then ribbing for 5. I have tiny hands.
