I was dumb and write down what needle size I used on this. Poop!

If I remember correctly, I cut at least 1 inch off of the length on the body of the hat before starting the garter stitch. In hindsight, I should have shortened it another inch. I ran out of Malabrigo, so I used my own handspun on the border and ties. I really like the contrast in color and texture of the yarn.

I will definitely make this pattern again!
