12.9.2010--Holding the yarn double (have never done this before, but really liking it). Totally guessing on the gauge and trying to guesstimate as I go by holding it up to my son’s head. So far I’ve done 10 increases and am thinking about an 11th.

12.12.2010--Did 11 increases; 10 would have been enough. Thinking about shrinking this some by sending it through the washer and dryer. Wish the pom pom was a bit smaller.

Had a lot of fun knitting this pattern.
