I’m trying a 9” circular needle to for this project to knit completely in the round.

7/27 I casted on while watching the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. I LOVE using a single 9” circular needle and I’m so happy that Wen in the Indieway Yarn Group suggested trying it. It’s nice to knit with one needle completely in the round!

7/29 Making great progress on my sock and I really love this little needle!

8/1 After looking at the top of the sock from my ankle up, I’ve stopped to start the heel; I have completed 11 repeats of the pattern stitch pattern and will have to wait to get home to use a longer circular for the heel. Loving it so far!

8/4 I took this project with me to the hospital today and made great progress. I’m now working on the foot.

8/13 I haven’t done too much more but still on the foot of the first sock.

UPDATE I’m participating in the Indieway Yarns: For The Love of Socks KAL - which means I can use this project as an incentive to finish up much faster!

9/30 I’m super excited that I’ve finished sock #1 ~ now on to sock #2 !

10/31 No time to knit the mate so into hibernation this WIP goes!

12/9 The mate has been casted on and I plan to finish before year end!

12/22 The heel is done and now I’m working on the decrease potion of the gusset. The end is near!

12/24 Three inches to go and I’m done :)

12/25 Finally finished!
