Notes

This project is a test knit for Anne for a pattern using commercial weight yarn.

7/9 I love how Anne does her toe-up, it’s quite easy and so simple. I think this will be a fun pattern, especially since it will be my first official toe-up sock !

7/10 I’ve finished the toe and have started the cable pattern ~ love the design ♥

7/11 The first pattern repeat has been completed and working on the second repeat. 4” knitted and 3” to go before I start the gusset.

7/12 Two full pattern repeats done and now I’ve started the gusset.

7/14 Re-worked the heel, just wasn’t nice looking and I’m a perfectionist. Now on to the leg.

Personal Note: For learning how to do short rows with wraps, review Laura Chau’s short-row heel tutorial -very helpful on knitting wraps together.

7/17 First sock has been completed. I will be casting on the mate this week.

7/19 I will be starting the cable pattern this evening - two repeats and then I will be starting the heel.

7/23 Working on the leg.

7/24 I got a lot of knitting accomplished this morning and only have to repeat rows 1 -14 before starting the cuff.

7/25 Finished and blocking.
