Testknit for this cute sweater.

To be honest, my sweater looked awful before blocking, but as it so often does, a bath and some stretching did wonders. I love my Rhomben. :)))

Gauge:

• 23 sts x 32 rows in stockinette
• 24 sts x 34 rows in seersucker pattern

The whole thing did not went without some small setbacks. I messed up the the short rows at the second sleeves twice, so I satrted it three times to get to the colourwork, which was quite annoying.

Same with the neckline. First, I picked the second purl bump instead of the first and then I managed to somehow miss one completely and the whole thing started to lean to the side. :/

Yeah, well, I´ve practiced my patience, I have to say, me and the sweater had some tough times. But fortunately to a good ending.

Mods:

As my gauge was way off I knitted L to get something between XS and S.

• did two repeats less for the armhole increases to get a bit less ease around the chest

• added 8 more rows to the body for more length

• started the the striping at the sleaves earlier

• threw in a contrast stripe in CC1

• more striping and length for the sleeves

• I might redo the bind off at the hem, as I´m not really happy with it. It´s still a bit too loose and messy for my liking, although blocking improved it a lot. It was much worse before.
