I’m hoping these colors work. Jennypoo doesn’t think they will, but she’s not being mean about it. I’m willing to take a risk.

I took a risk. The colors did not work. Jenny, you win. Noro had a stripe of sky blue and a stripe of purple right after the part you can see in the most progressed photo. I went nearly to the threshold of finishing, and knew I’d never be able to wear it. Part of the thing with this sucker is that I tried knitting it Continental style…so everything was really wonky, especially with yarns so different in texture as Malabrigo and Noro sock yarns.

The offending blue and purple have been extricated from the rest of the ball as punishment.
