Notes

I started this to have a mindless project in the car available for knitting at any time- for which this project was perfect : ) As you can see, using one skein makes for a tiny little scarf- but I always wear scarves/shawls wrapped around my neck. It’s perfect as a shawl for my 4-year old, but looks silly stretched out on my shoulders.

All in all, I like the pattern, but I don’t like how loose mine turned out. I recognize this is entirely my doing.

It’s not like I would ever leave my scarf on the couch for the dog to nestle with. But if I were that kind of person ; ) his little toes would get stuck and then pull out loops of yarn! And my fingers go through it if I am adjusting it, which I don’t like. I don’t like knits that are too “stringy”- which has stopped me from knitting the ever-popular Clapotis.

I also don’t care for the colors of the yarn on me. They seem too bold for me.

That being said, I wear this wrapped around my neck a lot! The yarn does not seem to itch at all, and let’s face it, like Gilda Radner, I base my fashion choices largely on this principle : )

So, I ended up liking it more than I thought I would and I would make another, with smaller needles and a different color yarn!
