Nun habe ich die Strümpfe fertig und freue mich.
Die Spitzenabnahmen waren etwas lästig zu stricken, denn die Charts sind in beiden Büchern sehr klein gedruckt und das Buch klappte immer wieder zu…
Aber sie sind fertig.

Ein Strumpf ist schon gewaschen und getrocknet, morgen werde ich nochmal die Unterschiede zwischen geblockt und ungeblockt fotografieren…

Der Winter kann kommen!

Der Strumpf stammt aus VecPiebalga in Lettland, ich habe ihn zum ersten Mal im Buch “Latviesu Tautas Terpes” im Vidzeme-Band gesehen.

Dann bei verschiedenen Reisen in Lettland, z.B. bei Sena Klets, auf Postkarten, in Büchern, es ist schon ein ikonischer Strumpf, jetzt kann der Winter kommen!

Now the stockings are finished and I am happy.
It was a little bit annoying to knit the toe, because the charts are printed very small in either the book or the magazine
But they are finished now-

One stocking is already washed and dried, tomorrow I will take another picture of the differences between blocked and unblocked and then wash the second one and I will be ready to wear these glorious stockings!

Winter can come!

The stocking comes from VecPiebalga in Latvia, I saw it for the first time in the book “Latviesu Tautas Terpes” in the Vidzeme volume.

Then on various trips in Latvia, for example at Sena Klets, on postcards, in books, it is really an iconic stocking, now winter can come!
