I used the Arduino Lilypad starter kit plus a motion sensor. I wrote the program with everything all together in the starter kit using the light sensor as a trigger for the lights flashing. One motion sensor tutorial said it needed an external pull-up resistor, but that seems to be built into the Lilypad (yay!).
I fulled the yellow T-shaped thing, then put it into the head to check for fit and placement of components and all. I realized the head wasn’t as big as I’d originally imagined - plan A was to put the Arduino between the lights and the motion sensor, but I decided to move it to where one of his ears would be. I poked through all the holes with sewing pins and pulled the felt out before sewing. I sewed from the Arduino to all the holes before attaching the LEDs, though I could sew in the buzzer.
I have the circuit diagram in my art notebook - necessary before sewing or finishing the program (since the program needs pin numbers).
Yarn was unspun roving, dyed yellow in tansy. It darkened during fulling, I don’t know why.
