1/16: Started it. Gonna be too narrow. Knitting a couple pattern repeats and then I’ll start over and figure out exactly how I want to modify.

1/21: modifications: CO 36 (on size 4s.) knitting 4” in garter then starting the ruffles pattern.

2/12: Been waiting for the rest of the black yarn for 2 weeks now. Yay for snow messing up deliveries!

3/6: Got the yarn, finished the Ravelympics project.

5/28: Been working on this again the last couple weeks after too much frustration with my hat designs. Nice and easy.

10/3: Still knitting, still not quite halfway done. Every time I hold it up and ask what he thinks, he says its not quite halfway long enough. shrug I’ll knit until I run out of yarn and then he’d better be happy. :-P

12/10: Had him hold it up last night, it was probably about 5.5’ long…he actually said “It might be close to done” instead halfway this time! I even might end up with leftover yarn!

12/16: Starting on the final garter section tonight. Totally excited!
