I knit the S/M circumference and the L/XL length.

I worked this hat in the round instead of flat so I cast on 72 sts instead of 74 sts.

I used size 7 needles for the rib and size 8 needles for the body.

I knit the rib 5.5” long instead of 6” so Dana would have a little more flexibility in deciding where to fold the brim.

I used a 4” diameter faux fur pom-pom from Joann Fabrics.

-Cast on 72 sts with size 7 needles
-Rib for 5.5”
-Change to size 8 needles, work seed stitch until hat measures 11” long
-Work crown decreases (13 rnds = 2” long)

• Total Length: 13”
• Rib Length: 5.5”

• Length with Rib Folded 3”: 10”
