For the front and back I used a long-tail cast on, started with a WS row, and worked 9 rows of rib instead of 8 rows.

I worked 2 fewer rows before starting the front neck shaping and 2 additional rows even after the neck shaping for a front neck depth of 3” instead of 2.5”.

I worked the neck rib in the round instead of flat. I picked up 80 sts instead of 78 sts. I worked 4 rounds in rib instead of 7. I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off.

I knit the sleeves top-down because I wanted long sleeves, was worried about running out of yarn, and it would be easier to make adjustments. Somehow my row gauge for the sleeves was 4.5 rows/1” instead of 5 rows/1” so I started the decreases at 2.5” and decreased every 4th row.

I did run out of yarn so I ended up with 3/4 length sleeves. I knit the sleeves 14.5” long instead of 15”. I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off.

I wish I knit this sweater as a modified drop-shoulder and bound off a few stitches for the armholes because there is a lot of bulk at the underarm. But this thought didn’t occur to me until the sweater was finished and seamed.
