The border is 6 rows of single crochet alternating the colors used. The points followed the same increase scheme as the pattern, but in the gaps between the points it was puckering.

Instead of skipping the middle two stitches, I did a sc2tog, skipped that stitch on the next round, sc2tog on next round, etc. just keep alternating until the end.

Took me forever and a day because I kept getting distracted. The baby was born 2 days ago and is coming home from the hospital today! So technically I’ve finished it just in time. This pattern works up very easily and quickly if you’re not using a tiny hook.

Love the pattern, though. I will definitely be making this one again :D
