I made two hats from this pattern. The first is obviously a direct translation of an adorable deer. I didn’t deviate from the pattern and my felted antlers turned out a little chunky, but still cuuuuute!

The second is of a fox! I modified it for size 8 needles (CO 82 stitches), as the rust yarn was smaller & varied in size. I also made the ears 28 stitches instead of 20, but started the decrease after 8 rows instead of 10 so they would be a little wider but shorter. And the only black I had was the Borealis black/white yarn, which was much bulkier than the brick yarn, but it all turned out okay since it was such a small amount.
