Using 4 colors instead of 3. Not entirely planned, but I plan to swap in the two different greys when I want more or less contrast.

US 4s for 1x1 rib. 9 rows of 1x1 rib for bottom hem.

Planning to knit the body a bit shorter, since I don’t love a sweater that ends right at the hips (on my shape, anyway) and added length without shaping isn’t esp flattering on me, either. We’ll see how it goes. Knit the body to 14.5”

Knit sleeves to 19” in length -- turns out this is about 3” too long, considering that I prefer a bracelet length sleeve. I will leave them for now, since I can roll them up, if need be.

A note about the body length:

After knitting the body to 14.5” and finishing the yoke and collar, I didn’t love the length on me. I did some “sweater surgery” and removed 7” of st st from the body, then grafter the colorwork section to the body closer to the yoke. And it worked! It was tedious and finicky, but oh so worth it. I love the fit now.

I followed the notes from Fruity Knitting episode 33, about 10.5 minutes in where Andrea details this process. I didn’t even realize this was a possibility until I saw this episode!

And now, I love it.
