Adjusted for boxy key shape. Extra increases in beginning. Knit straight up until just below ring hole. Did YO for hole and then did extra decreases for square shape. 3-needle bind off and then felted a tiny bit for strength at top.

Took maybe 30 minutes.

update: two months in of heavy use and still looks like it did when I finished. I think felting was the key… buhdumPUM! ;)
