Frogged 2020 - the soles of the feet blew through spectacularly (after years of frequent wear, it’s fine!) and I decided to recover the leg yarn for another use!

Sport weight socks using up a weirdly coloured reject skein from my dyeing days plus some stripes of leftover Zealana Kiwi lace weight held double to make the legs a decent length.

Toe up with:

• spiral toe
• riverbed gusset increases under foot
• Fish Lips Kiss heel
• 3x2 ribbing
• JSSBO

For comparison, I usually knit stockinette socks in standard sock weight yarn with 64-66 stitches in the foot, these have 54 and are a good fit.
