Notes

This bag is crocheted using the tapestry crochet technique and design art of the mud cloth print. I used a brocade paisley print in tan to line the bag which has an inside pocket. To give the bag form I inserted a stiffener between the lining and the bag at the bottom, front, and back. I also inseted a magnetic snap to close the bag. In tapestry crochet you use paper graphs to create the motifs. I used a cross stitch software called PC Stitch http://www.pcstitch.com/Default.aspx
which provides graphs to allow individual design of motifs.

The customer I made this for asked me to change the closure from a magnetic snap to a zipper (not pictured).
