Notes

I don’t actually have this pattern but was inspired by it since it looks both delightful and easy.

Invisible provisional CO 60. (Great tutorial here.)
K1, Kfb, K across, k2tog, k1.
Purl.

So, not the tv knitting I was hoping for. The stitches are too fuzzy and sticky - I have to pay more attention than I normally would to keep from knitting two together or dropping stitches. Thus this has dragged on a bit. Also, I just don’t love knitting anything with a loose gauge.

All done and it is fluffy and pink. When I first started knitting this, the yarn felt kind of crunchy to me. That eventually passed but it doesn’t feel as marvelous as I thought it would from petting the ball. Maybe blocking will help soften it a bit?

Once I was done grafting the two ends together, I ended up with less than two feet of yarn left. Woo hoo.

For as light and airy as it is, it proves remarkably adept at keeping the chill off. This could end up a fun and well-used winter accessory.

My phone simply cannot take an accurate photo of this color. Sigh. Also, blocking did not make it softer. It feels a bit plasticy. Sigh. Oh well. It’s still lovely and fluffy!
