Using #6 Addi circs

BO using recommended method and #8 Addi circs

Wet blocked by pinning out lace center and sticking a bolster pillow into to neck opening and pinning the top edge up on the bolster pillow. I had to also add a pin diagonally through the bottom edge of the bolster pillow and into the mat to keep the pillow upright. Like Elsewhere, Bored Now also suffered from the stuffy blocking house, so it also got transferred to my bedroom in front of a fan to finish drying. Took a little longer to dry than Elsewhere, but I didn’t have the fan directly pointed at it so I doubt it was the yarn’s fault.

Before blocking it seemed way too tight to be used comfortably as a cowl and certainly didn’t look like a faux shawl, but the blocking really helped with that. After blocking it fits very comfortably and looks much more shawl-like. Lace - it’s magic.

Another note, of all the wonderful luxurious yarns I was working with during the Ravellenics, MCN Sport was the surprise favorite. The weight was just right for my tired hands and the yarn felt unnaturally soft. Every time I picked it up I couldn’t resist going “Ahhhhhhhh….” I MUST get more of this base!
