My inspiration photo is below, taken from the top of Magni, a new mountain created in 2010 after the eruption of Eyjafjallajökul. It was the culmination of an epic and wonderful hike. Hélène designed this pattern to celebrate this Hiking Between Fire and Ice tour so it’s the perfect jumper to knit as a memory of the trip.

Only mods were to add ribbing at neckline and hem rather than the crocheted bind-off - I think it gives those edges a bit more stability. I also added more decreases on the neckline.

The Lett Lopi knits up so fast and is lovely to work with. I can see several more Lopi sweaters in my future.
