This is lifelined and off the needles til I figure out if I have enough yarn or if I need to buy more. I’m thinking I may need to buy more. I don’t understand because I got gauge, which means 700 yards should be enough, but I am rapidly running out of yarn and I’ve barely begun the lace section. Grr…

3/7/12: just realized I never updated this. Cosy had another skein of the yarn so I purchased it and am going to go whole hog on the thing. :) It’s still off the needles til I finish a prayer shawl for a cancer patient, and a dishcloth for my dishcloth swap, but it’s next on my list. Can’t wait to finish it! I love the color! :)

3/13/12: Ok, now that I’ve taken approximately 52 billion years getting this back onto the needles, making sure I didn’t drop any stitches, and winding another ball of yarn, I’m back in the groove and lovin’ it! First time doing a feather and fan, think it’ll look really nice! Hope it’ll fit me - I decided not to go up to seven hundred milliionty stitches, but stayed at 364 til the decrease for the lace, then plan on doing a longer lace section. I think it’ll block out, though.

4/8/12: DONE! Looks like I did it big enough, too. Look forward to working in the ends and blocking it a bit. Turned out nice, was definitely worth the wait to figure out getting more yarn, etc.
