Working with a US#3 (3.25mm). I’m a loose continental knitter & love the drape I get with this size needle & fingering weight yarn.

Love the detail the kfbf adds to the edge.

Beautiful texture in section 3

I did not do the picot edging, I didn’t feel that it needed it. Plus all the other edges were straight, so having them all straight focuses attention to the texture in the shawl.

Not a fan of weaving in the ends of the little detail rows… very tricky & tedious.

My colour #2 (multi) isn’t showing up as well as I thought it would in section 3. It might have looked better with colour #1 (purple).

If I make it again…. I’ll make section #2 much smaller (by at least a third) and section 3 larger (at least doubled).

Blocking & waiting for it to dry…. it’s hugh, even with me scrunching it together during blocking. Don’t want it stretched any bigger than it already is.

Pattern was very easy to follow & well written.
