Making it up as I go… Using garter stitch mitered squares & large rectangular sections of garter. Adding in random slashes of colour (red, tangerine & goldenrod) to use up the scraps left over from 2 previous knit blankets.

Yarn: soft & easy to work with. Great colour. Skeins are full of knots, finding 3-5 knots in EVERY skein. This is very annoying and a waste of yarn & time. Each time a knot comes up I have to cut it out, rejoin the yarn properly & then weave in the ends. I loose approx 12 inches of yarn with each knot. Yarn would be 5 stars but all the knots brought it down to 2 stars.
