This yarn is much heavier than fingering weight I’ve used before… moving up to a US#5 needle. Also the label says 100% superwash merino but it feels very much like a soft cotton… I’ll need to get used to this as it’s odd in weight & feel.

Used half the skein & it’s plenty big… slightly larger than ones I’ve made with true fingering weight knitted to 34-36 teeth.

30 teeth.

I really think this yarn should be labeled as a DK or sport weight.

I have enough yarn left over to knit a second hitchhiker. Didn’t really love working with this yarn so I’ll be gifting the remaining half skein to someone else. My favorite Miss Babs yarn is still “Yummy 2-ply”
