Malabrigo Mechita for the tip of hat

Named Nootka after the cypress so named, further research shows ‘Nootka’ also refers to a Group of First People of the American northwest (Canadian/Vancouver area.) The women seem to have worn a conical hat with a bulbous shape at the top, quite similar to the one at the tip of the gnome hat.
