This was so fun to make! I absolutely loathe sewing pieces together, so I adapted the pattern to eliminate that step.

E hook was used for elephant and first 5 rounds of blanket with G hook being used for rest.

Besides hating sewing pieces together, I wanted a single piece to ensure there was no danger of the head becoming detached from the blanket. So after completing the elephant, I immediately started a granny square. 13 rounds of granny followed by a single round of sc.

Eyes and tusks are French knots.
