Years ago, when I started knitting, I made this scarf to Augustin (you are allowed to laugh at me after seeing this thing) I was very new to knitting, didn’t know much (as for exemple: stockinette does roll!) and full of love and faith (the scarf will flatten up after blocking because I want it to)
This scarf is full of newbie mistakes and reminds me how unskilled I was, but Augustin wears it a lot (ah! the power of love!)

This winter, it appeared clearly that he just could not wear this anymore (the yarn pills horribly), and I decided to knit a new scarf, he could wear proudly now that I’m feeling more confident on my knitting skills.

I wanted a simple model knitted lenghtwise, but after a few various tries, I decided to knit this pattern again.
Yes it’s long and tedious, but it’s so beautiful! I love mine and Augustin deserves it! I also like the idea that we will wear assorted scarfs.

I chose this yarn on purpose for his sensible skin and hope it will wear well despite his beard.

Oh, I hope so much he will enjoy his new scarf!
