Ballerina Grunge: what a great name for this yarn shade! Pale tutu-pink with a rusty patina… a ballerina in a battered leather jacket

The ECY Titus shade (Stonecrop) matches the pale peachy-pink background colour of the Yarny Love yarn perfectly. And using it as the CC means that if you blink, you’ll miss the stripes! so subtle, they’re almost invisible… but what it does is break up/dilute the speckles and variegations of the MC. Hmm, may have to call it Sides, rather than Sides and Stripes!

Mods: about an inch longer for the body and a couple of inches for the sleeves. I didn’t stripe the sleeves (I knew it wouldn’t be terribly noticeable lol), but rather knitted in blocks of colour.

Final verdict: I LOVE the shape and design of this pullover; even if my stripes are not cough obvious, it’s still a thumbs up from me! Both the Yarny Love and ECY are beautiful in terms of handle and texture . I will knit this again, perhaps with stripes next time…
