Lovely pattern that I’ve really made progress on over the past week, as I’ve realised that the summer is nearing its end… and this is so perfect as a light cardigan to wear with a summer dress or t-shirt (esp in Cadiz in 2 weeks’ time, shriek! ).

Mods: I added approx 2” to the body length (ending on row 4 of the lace) and 2” to the sleeves (before the shaping)… this still means that it just reaches my waist and has cropped sleeves

Other than that, I’ve knitted it exactly as the pattern. I haven’t used the Isager Spinni yarn before and I will say that it’s perfect for this pattern: the crispness and airiness of the yarn ‘holds’ the shape well (I’m not sure whether anything with silk or linen would make it just a bit too floppy a fabric?). NB: I’ve needed only a few yards of the 4th skein.

Things I particularly like: how the twisted sts are worked along the raglans and then down each side; and the sleeves! I LOVE the sleeves, with the little bit of smocking at the elbow!
