sun: all finished except for hand knotting the hair, which is likely to take a long, long time…
sat: using up bits of handspun…
fri: gonna make him a sark based rather on this, from another raveller’s notes (who probably wouldn’t appreciate her normal cute fairy being linked to dwelf in any way! ):
You begin at the hem and work up to the shoulder straps. If you are working in the round, cast on a multiple of 10 sts. Your entire hemline should measure approx. 2.5 times the circumference of your doll’s chest where the empire waist line will fall. I rounded down to the nearest 10. Calculate the number of decreases you will need and determine how many rows required for the skirt length you want in order to figure out how many decreases per row will get you to the chest circumference. From there, work a few rows of reverse-stockinette, then a few rows of stockinette (decreasing under both armholes), and finish off with garter-stitch shoulder straps. The numbers are entirely dependent on your gauge and the size of your doll…
wed: heavily modified… like a neck and a nose and fingers…
